Library Council
I was approached by a group of girls late in Term Two to start a library council.
The girls:
Cassia, Anna, Kate, Thea, Isla, Sam , Madilyn and Anab
Term Three the girls co ordinated and ran a highly successful Harry Potter week in the library at lunchtime.
Term Four the girls are developing videos around the library. They will be writing their own scripts and filming. They can use actors or do the video themselves. These videos will be used for the following year to show new librarians.

Trauma Workshop - 28 April 2018
Trauma Workshop
28th April 2018 with Darryl Connelly
The main thing I learnt out of this workshop was to stay calm when a child is having a rant at you. They are not targeting you it is probably not about you but about something that is happening in this childs life.
Try to stay calm and don't react with anger but listen to what the child is trying to say.
